Mr. MacLeod is one of the most experienced vaccine counsel in the country.  Mr. MacLeod has been practicing law since being admitted to the State Bar of New York in 1986.  He is a 1986 graduate of Albany Law School and was admitted to practice later that same year.  Glenn has been practicing law for 37 years, over thirty has been as a vaccine lawyer with the Vaccine Program.   

Upon graduation from law school in 1986, Mr. MacLeod joined the U.S. Army as a Judge Advocate General attorney.  He was stationed at the Army military base in Baumholder, Germany for three years.  He quickly rose from being a prosecutor to being a highly sought after defense counsel in felony cases.  For his last years of military service, he was stationed at the Pentagon and served as Chief of Staff to the Army’s highest ranking civilian, a highly coveted assignment. 

Upon completing his military service, Mr. MacLeod joined the Department of Justice Office of Vaccine Litigation in 1992.  He served as a vaccine attorney for the federal government until his retirement from the government in 2020.  In all, Mr. MacLeod was counsel for the government in vaccine cases for 28 years.   Mr. MacLeod joined the Law Offices of Leah V. Durant & Associates in 2022. 

During his government service with the Civil Division’s Office of Vaccine Litigation, Mr. MacLeod was a Trial Attorney, a Team leader and finally a Senior Trial Counsel.  He won countless awards for outstanding service during his time with the Civil Division.  Mr. MacLeod was selected to run, along with another attorney, the Department of Justice’s 9/11 Fund Compensation Program where he served as the Senior Trial Judge.  He was selected to serve as government’s counsel on many of the toughest cases that went to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Glenn resides with his family in Fredericksburg, Virginia and enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren.
